The actual organization of the Cooperative follows in the search of the Social Development of all its associates, assuming the roll of work agent in infrastructure oriented to satisfy the necessities of the population settled down in the area of influence of the Cooperative.
EDUCATIVE AREA
For La Florida , the education is one of the main orientations, for this reason, we have a plan of active participation, in the educational development of our partners and the communities of our area of influence.

PRODUCTIVE TECHNICAL EDUCATIVE CENTER LA FLORIDA "CETPROP"
La Florida is betting in the formation and qualification of youth, future agrarian entrepreneurs, we have the decision to professionalize this area, for this reason, we have created the Productive Technical Educative Center La Florida , whose abbreviations are: "CETPROP LA FLORIDA ".
Its objective is to form agricultural technicians, producers, leaders and agricultural extensions with criteria and abilities to administer in an efficient way their property and organizations, agreed with the exigencies of the integral development promoted by the cooperative. In that way, we obtained that many of them, due to the lack of resources can continue their superior studies, and no have to be transferred to another region, so that, we avoid the migration to the great cities.
With this tool we looked for to become young people independent so that they will be actors of their own development.
The financing of this program is with the utilities generated in the Commercialization of coffee and the PLUS that is obtained by the Fairtrade Labelling Organizations (Flo) , under the FLO standards and also by the support of the CCFD of France.

PROGRAM OF SCHOOL IMPLEMENTS
For La Florida is a constant preoccupation the Primary Education of the children, for that reason through our Educational Department, we promoted the attendance of the children to the schools equipping them with school implements, specially to those who don't have economic resources in native communities.
Also, LA FLORIDA implements the libraries of these schools, the school orchards and uniforms for the sport practice.
The financing of these programs are financed with the obtained utilities thanks to the efficient system of Commercialization and the Plus that is obtained by the sale under the system of Fairtrade Labelling Organizations (FLO)

AREA OF COMMUNITARIAN DEVELOPMENT
Through this area we handled and executed the construction of the basic services for the communities, such as potable water, highway, bridges, schools and first aid posts.

HEALTH CARE AREA
We work with aims of prevention and in the treatment of first aid, counting on the support of the health promoters qualified in the CETPROP; and also we have constant support through of one specialist in the area of social attendance.

COMMITTEE OF FAMILIAR DEVELOPMENT – CODEFAM
We work with aims to revalue the associate wife's, and to involve her in the political and entrepreneurial life, training in the good administration of the small farm, in organizational works of micro-enterprise, familiar planning, preparation of good nutritional diets, management, leadership and handling of credits.

AREA OF SOCIAL PREVENTION
For serious social cases, the organization has created founds in which we can take care of emergencies like: accident, disease or death of the associate, for this objective annually we destine 10% of our generated utilities.
